Armin Reuter from Veridos and Dimitris Kyriazanos from NCSRD attended EAB Research Projects Conference that took place at the premises of Fraunhofer IGD in Darmstadt, Germany from 16th to 18th September 2019.
The conference was organized by the European Association on Biometrics (EAB) in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. It is the largest event on research funded by the European Union in the area of Biometrics and Identity Management.
An overview presentation of the D4FLY has been given and a project poster was demonstrated. More than 60 participants from academia, industry and public institutions attended the event. End-users, represented by FRONTEX (border control), ENFSI (forensics), Policy makers, represented by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), Managers of large IT-systems, represented by the European Agency eu-LISA and industrial partners were among the attended stakeholders.
