On the 24th of January 2020 people from VERIDOS, VTT, Y.D.E.A.P and BPTI visited the Reception Centre for Asylum Seekers in Ter Apel. The Royal Marechaussee (RNM) hosted the study visit.
Participants received a thorough introduction to Dutch asylum process from the viewpoint of the Royal Marechaussee in order to have a better understanding where D4FLY development efforts will have concrete impact.
Discussions followed on the current operations, used equipment and roles of different stakeholders within the process concluding with specified needs that also translate to document security in the area of border control.
